Breathwork is the art of controlled breathing. In our Deep End Fitness Breathwork sessions, we focus on breathing techniques to aid in controlling the central nervous system. Through breathwork exercises participants will be able to down-regulate their stress response on command. Participants will also increase their lung volume and thoracic stretch as well as strengthening their diaphragm. This all aids in gas exchange – a vital component of athletic performance and stress reduction.
